Safety first

Remove the battery before disconnecting display wiring.

Never probe connector pins with the battery installed.

Repair steps

Rule out low charge

Charge the battery and confirm its own level indicator before inspecting the display.

Use only the approved charger.

Dry the controls

Wipe the display and button pad. Let a wet bike dry indoors before continuing.

Do not use a hair dryer or high heat.

Inspect the connector

Remove the battery, locate the matching display connector, and check alignment marks and pins before reseating it.

Never twist or force the connector.

Perform a movement test

Reinstall the battery, power on, and slowly turn the handlebars while observing the display.

If flickering returns, stop; the harness may need replacement.

Verify the repair

All checks passed. You’re ready to ride.
