Repair steps

1

Check both levers

Pull and release each lever while watching for slow or incomplete return.

Do not loosen hydraulic hose fittings.
2

Clean the pivot

Wipe dirt from around the lever pivot and operate it several times.

Keep lubricants away from rotors and pads.
3

Check sensor alignment

Inspect the small sensor and magnet near the lever. If obviously displaced, align them without straining the wire.

Stop if wiring is pinched or damaged.
4

Restart and test

Power-cycle the bike, then test the brake icon and motor cut-off with the drive wheel raised.

Final check

Verify the repair

All checks passed. You’re ready to ride.
