Turn the bike off before removing the battery.
Never short the battery terminals. Stop if you see swelling, heat, or damage.
Symptoms
- Display remains dark
- No lights or motor response
- Power button has no effect
Possible causes
- Battery is empty or asleep
- Battery is not fully seated
- Brake cut-off or stand sensor is active
- Loose main connector

Repair steps
Confirm the battery charge
Connect the original charger and verify its indicator behaves normally. Allow at least 15 minutes if the battery may be deeply discharged.
Reseat the battery
Switch everything off, unlock the battery, remove it, inspect the contacts, and firmly reinstall it until it clicks.
Release safety interlocks
Raise the side stand and squeeze then fully release both brake levers. Check that neither lever is stuck.
Inspect the main connection
Look for an obviously loose, wet, or damaged cable near the battery mount. Reconnect only matching, undamaged plugs.
Power on correctly
Hold the display power button for two seconds. If it remains dark after a known-good charge, stop and seek service.
